Joe Little completed his undergrad at GMU in 1998 and went to Syracuse for his MA. The Department of Communication awarded him the GMU Communication Award in 2009. Joe is such a GMU supporter he named his two sons, George and Mason.
Joe was recently awarded a 2011 Emmy for ON-Camera Reporter Composite, KGTV 10News (San Diego) where he has worked for many years.
At his acceptance speech, he gave GMU credit, in part, for his success.
Joe was ahead of his time. While everyone else still used a camera person and audio person while they reported the news, Joe was his own editor, camera operator and news reporter for news which was solid and fun. Even today, Joe uses new media forms to their fullest.
